Field note
Two boys, one lake, two popsicles. A rare entry the Institute presents without prejudice. Childhood was, on balance, good. The disparity documented elsewhere on this site is offered in love and was, even then, already underway.
Field note
The Founder returns from a two-year sabbatical abroad. A large hand-painted banner reading WELCOME HOME BENTLEY! is mounted on the family home. The family gathers beneath it. Subject P. is present but does not receive a banner of his own. The matter has not been raised since. The Institute regards this photograph as having written its own caption, and defers to it.
